Let’s focus on EYELINER

Hello #sistervixens, we have some serious business to talk about. Eyeliner. Yes, eyeliner!

Eyeliner defines our eyes, we have the power to make our eyes stand out with the various shades, pencil mediums, thickness…our creative touch along with the shape of our eyes and the look we are going for will either make or break the look.

So, me personally I love a good smokey eye look. While typically applied for an evening look, I like to rock my smokey eye look all day, every day! Lol. Without my smokey eyes I feel, naked. But, in an effort to step out of my comfort zone and try something new, I did try and recreate Lady Gaga’s look in the movie, “A Star Is Born.” I really loved the subtle gold tones of shadow or blended pencil that her makeup artist used, to make it look like a super soft eyeliner. Now, I have two looks that I rock, smokey eye and soft, subtle smokey eye!

And then of course – how we can leave out the perfect CAT EYE eyeliner look? That takes some real skill to apply, but part of the fun is the journey in nailing the look down! How many times have you put one eye on point, then your other eye is like, um, as the kids are saying now…cringy…LOL! We’ve all been there. The more you apply, the better you get at it.

So let everyone know – what is your favorite eyeliner look? Barely there/Subtle Eyeliner, Smokey Eye, or Cat Eye?
